I hope you are all staying safe and healthy. I wanted to let you know that we are still treating patients at our office. I want to assure you that in times of uncertainty, the safety of our patients and employees remain our highest priority.
Please know that we are keeping those affected by COVID-19 in our thoughts while we all continue to adapt to the ever changing situation.
We are following all CDC guidelines and have limited our available treatment slots to maintain social distancing and not exceed a group of 10 people in our office. We are cleaning high-touch areas such as counters and restrooms with more frequency. We are actively monitoring the health of our employees, as well.
All patients are screened for any potential exposure to COVID-19, including contact with someone else who has tested positive for it or is under self-quarantine for possible exposure. We are watching for symptoms, such as, fever, cough or shortness of breath. We also discuss history of travel to a possible high transmission location.
All physical rehabilitation, injury treatment and Chiropractic care is an up-close style of healthcare. They are not well suited for Telemedicine. For those reasons, any practitioner serving you will take all precautions for your safety and their own, as outlined by the CDC.
For those looking to speak solely to our medical staff regarding primary care treatment, medications and/or weight loss, we are currently integrating a telemedicine model with our medical staff to effectively treat our patients remotely, when possible.
I know this is a stressful time for everyone. A stressful environment is often associated with aches, pains and illness, unrelated to COVID-19. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions. The office phone is forwarded to me even during off business hour, so please leave a message and I will call you back.
We value you and your health. I want to thank you for continuing to trust us with your care.
